I wouldnβt say I miss you. We met right on schedule,
and parted not a moment too soon.
But today I circled the lot for what felt like hours
before I found a single open parking spot,
on a shitty side street far enough away to make my feet sore,
and I thought of you: that angry vein in your neck,
your creative threats pelted at other drivers.
If you were here, you might say,
βdonβt anthropomorphize a corpseβ or βI will always love you,β
depending on your mood.
In any case, I hope thereβs nothing left to bitch about,
in whichever heaven you've managed to weasel your way into.
