Right of way

As far as you drive
As slick on the road
As long you survive
As strong as you go

You’re still near the ditch
You’ve chosen your route
Your heart is a bridge
Your faith is a moat

No matter the wrecks
You narrowly dodge
The town after next
Is still a mirage

How loud will you rattle?
They can’t all be green
Sisyphean battle
Against the machine

So think like the street
And know what you’re not
When crossroads you meet
Just roll with the thought
